2012 Beehive Book Awards

Each year, the Children's Literature Association of Utah sponsors the Beehive Book Awards.  The special thing about this book award is that the children are nominating and voting for their favorite new books, across several categories.  Voting is held through libraries and schools during the spring months.  Participating has become one of our favorite family literacy activities!  Here are a couple of the new books we have enjoyed this year.

Voting continues through April 1st at the County and City Library system branches throughout Salt Lake City.
